Rich Podgur, Director
The Real School of Music welcomes Rich Podgur, a highly trained music educator and professional musician, as director of its RealKids Early Childhood Music Program. Rich recently returned to Boston after spending nine years as an educator/Orff specialist with the pioneering early childhood development music school, Music Rhapsody of Redondo Beach, CA. Rich holds a degree from Berklee College of Music, and received his Orff certification through the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As a singer/songwriter, guitarist, and drummer/percussionist, Rich has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and is lauded as a passionate teacher and performer. He brings his love and understanding of rhythm, movement, and singing fundamentals to RealKids, a program designed to enhance the physical and intellectual development of children from three months to nine years of age.
